Nellie's Shelter & Support for Women & Children

Be our guest this Thursday January 14th at 12:30 pm at our Zoom meeting featuring Ingrid Graham, Director of Development at Nellie’s an organization providing a shelter for woman and children and other support programs.  Ingrid's talk will cover the history, why they exist, how they assist women and their children and the future of Nellie's.

Ingrid began her fundraising career at the United Way of Greater Toronto as Associate Manager of Leadership Giving. In 2001 she joined the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto during the Great Minds for Great Medicine campaign where she was part of the fundraising team that saw the building of the Terrence Donnelly Centre for Cellular & Biomolecular Research. In 2008 Ingrid joined Women’s College Hospital Foundation (WCHF) as Director of Leadership Giving & Special Initiatives, one of several positions she held while at the foundation. In addition to fundraising at WCHF she provided senior level support to the foundation’s President and CEO across a diverse and broad range of initiatives that supported several Board committee activities. Currently Ingrid is Director of Development at Nellie’s and is primarily responsible for raising funds needed to meet Nellie’s funding gap and capital campaign, as well as overseeing the marketing and communications for the organization.
